From RED PLANET EXPEDITION office

We leave at 10:30 AM-11:00 AM. The train’s graveyard, the first locomotives in Bolivia. afterwards you go to the small village of Colchani the salt miners town in there visit the salt factories and see the rustic way of table salt production also in Colchani you can visit the souvenirs shops. after that you will be taken to the great salt flat of Uyuni, there you go to see the hotel made out salt (HOTEL PLAYA BLANCA) the only hotel allowed inside of the salt flats where you take you time to visist it and see the salt rooms and the lobby all made out of salt, then we take north way in the salts to a place called the salt sculpture (the piramid, the hand of salt, the stairs to no where, the salt condor etc. inside the salts till a place where the level of water permits us to go and see the reflection of the sky or mirror effect enjoyable only in wet season, take some funny photos, after some fun you go to look for a good place in the salts for sunset ( wine and chips) and finally you will get back to Uyuni around 7:30 pm.
